The multirow form inputs are used to add multiple products with the same quantity and unit price into one shipment. The shipping cost of each product will be calculated individually based on the weight and dimensions of each product.
If you are using multirow form inputs, you can add unlimited products into one shipment. You can manage the products in the shipment anytime on manage product section. You can add new products to the existing shipment. Also, products can be merged between two shipments using the merge option. Unlimited products can be added into one shipment using multirow form inputs. Multi-Shipments are useful for cases where you want to ship multiple orders from one vendor or vendor code. The following are some of the benefits of using multi product shipment:
Merge Products Between Two Shipments
You can merge multiple products into one shipment without having to change any row values in your database tables or use SQL queries to do so. This makes it very easy for you to track your shipments and make changes whenever necessary.

Using this feature, you can add new products into existing shipments without having to change any row values in your database table or use SQL queries to do so. This makes it very easy for you to track your shipments and make changes whenever necessary.
The Volumetric weight feature allows you to add multiple items in one shipment and get consolidated weight and cost of the shipment automatically. Also, volumetric weight will be calculated automatically using the formula configured on the settings section. By default system configured to use greater weight between actual weight and volumetric weight.
The system can be used to calculate shipping costs for a product with different weights. For example if a product weighs 1 kilogram and is shipped in 2 packages then it will cost $1 per package (1 kg multiplied by $0.50 per package). If another product weighs 1 kilogram and is shipped in 3 packages then it will cost $1 per package (2 x 1kg multiplied by $0.50 per package).
