How are car shipping quotes calculated?
From your distance bands (price for one standard car) times the vehicle class factor, plus enclosed and expedited %, a winch fee for non-running vehicles, seasonal % by pickup month and a multi-vehicle discount, with a minimum and rounding.
Do carriers see what the customer pays?
No. Carrier logins only see the load board, their own trips and their own pay.
How do deposits and COD work?
When the customer accepts, the deposit (a % you set) falls due and is recorded by your team. On cash-on-delivery orders the balance is collected by the driver at delivery and recorded in the app.
Can dealers ship several cars on one order?
Yes. An order can hold several vehicles; each is inspected separately and can travel on the same or different trips.
Is the distance calculated automatically?
Staff enter the distance when quoting today, with a link to check it on a map. Automatic distance lookup is on the roadmap.
